The thing is, at the time I was having a hard time getting anyone to trust me with a magical quest to prove my power as an enchanted beast.
The big problem was that I kept depression-eating magical doughnuts and gaining weight. That meant I was 50 pounds overweight and could barely climb the basement steps to meet the doughnut delivery elf at the drawbridge, which meant everyone laughed at me when my belly got so big I fell face down in the mud on main street on my way to meet the doughnut elf one day.
